Christmas 2011
Services:- Every year we have a number of special services to celebrate the birth of Jesus.....
If you live in the Corby area, or are just visiting, you are very welcome to join in all our events.
6.00pm Sunday 18th December Carols by Candlelight
4.00pm Christmas Eve Crib Service for everyone
11.15pm Christmas Eve Midnight Communion Service
10.00am Christmas Day Celebrate Christmas 
Carols by Candlight, the last Sunday before Christmas, is a wonderful evening, and the Crib Service on Christmas Eve (welcoming the Light of ther World complete with popular "Light Sticks"!) is especially enjoyed by families and children. All donations received at this year's Crib Service will be passed to the local "Lexie leggie" Trust.
Later on Christmas Eve the Midnight Communion Service will be the traditional form of carols & readings often known as "Midnight Mass", while the Christmas Day Family Celebration also includes communion & is designed to be friendly and enjoyable for all ages- see Diary
What else are we doing for Christmas this year?
A Christmas Day Event which always includes lunch, laid on by an informal partnership of churches and voluntary & statutory bodies in Corby for those who would otherwise be alone will, after a break last year, take place this year in St. Columba's Church Hall, Studfall Avenue.
There will also be our usual Christmas Film Show - either the excellent new BBC offering of "The Nativity", or a light-hearted (but true!) story, looking at how the Christmas spirit totally transformed the lives of a group of homeless men in "The Christmas Choir"........ Click diary for date!
A church drama group are also preparing a Pa
ntomime(!) which will be 'premiered' at the Christmas Day Event (Oh, yes it will!). We also hope to fit in a public showing, possibly combined with an informal meal of some kind to raise additional funds for the local charity, the Lexie Leggie Trust. Again, watch the diary for developments......!!!
