Letter from Ian 14th November
I hope you have had a good week.
I am sorry every week when we are not able to meet in church, but this week especially so as Derek and Jane Waller, our CMS Mission Partners who returned from Madagascar in the summer, were going to be with us. I am pleased to say that Derek and Jane will still be with us as they are giving the talk in our online service and will be watching with us on Sunday morning. There is going to be an online CMS Farewell Service for Derek and Jane later in the year and I will send out details of that when I have them so that people from St Columba's are able to join that service. Beyond that we look forward to meeting some new mission partners at some point in the future.
The link for this week's service is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhPVFm9hUrQ&list=PLIkVUkfx667biSw5n4Aq-f2nh1pxdMiy2
and there is a PDF with all the pictures and maps so you can study them later.
Here are this week's children's resources along with the latest quiz from Steve to keep our minds active in the lockdown.
Christine Kettridge's funeral will be on Friday 27th November at 2pm in church. This service will be for 30 invited people only, but there will be a live stream available to watch at home (details to be sent out nearer the time). There was a live stream of Linda Mateyo's funeral last Thursday and if you would like to watch that the links are:

Please do contact me if there is anything that you need at this time. Also remember that you can drop off donations for the church or Food Bank and packed Shoe boxes at the Vicarage. Anyone still wanting a shoe box to fill can also pick one up from the Vicarage.
God bless you all,
